Look Inside: Naval Museum

On our trip in VA Beach, we decided to pass by the Naval Museum since it was too cold to go to the beach. Upon arrival, the first thing that catches your eye is the huge ship at the entrance. The battleship Wisconsin is it’s name – one of the largest and last battleships ever built by the U.S. Navy. Look Inside The Naval Museum. VA BeachLook Inside The Naval Museum. VA Beach

After standing in a long line to get our tickets, we headed up the elevator to start our tour. First the tour walks you through the history of the ship, equipment, and the men that were recruited.

Once we were done walking through the history, it led us to a bridge that connects to the battleship. I would never understand how people were able to live on this ship for long period at a time.Look Inside The Naval Museum. VA Beach Look Inside The Naval Museum. We walked downstairs entering the ship, it was a bit scary especially since the stairs were wet from the rain. Once inside, we were able to explore by ourselves. We got to see how they communicated, how they eat, where they slept and how they got around. Not sure how they did get around, because I got lost at least 6 times trying to get out of there.
