Now that I’m planning my birthday trip to Greece with my Sister. It brought back memories of our trip to Thailand in April for her birthday.
Visit Thailand, you won’t regard it! Here is why!
Thailand is one of the best places to live and visit. If I had the opportunity to live there I wouldn’t hesitate. The people were very welcoming, the nightlife was amazing and the food was delicious.
Thailand is perceived as one of the countries that are racist toward the darker skin. From my own personal experience, I’m not sure if this is the case. I received no racist comments or negativity towards me. Then again, I was there for only three days and on vacation mode….Cloud 9.
I did notice the locals were curious about us and acted as if we were celebrities, which was kind of interesting.
Everywhere we went someone wanted a picture or talk to us about where we were from. I didn’t see it as a negative thing, some people might but if they are willing to at least ask questions about my background I’m more than happy to talk to them.
Overall, the experience and people were great. If you want to learn how I spent my two night in Bangkok, check out my post!
