Even though this past weekend will forever be remembered of sadness, we took to the streets of Washington, DC to support love and equality for the DC Gay Pride Parade.
The Parade traveled 1.5 miles through DuPont Circle and 17th Street and ended in the Logan Circle neighborhood. It included hundreds of decked out floats, walkers throwing goodies, dogs in tutus, drag queens, and more.
The parade was to showcase equality and acceptance amongst us all but specifically the LGBTQ community (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer).
The atmosphere was beautiful! Everyone was happy, cheering, smiling, and gyrating. Yes – a lot of guys in speedos shaking their junk and ass better than I can. Okayyy honey, I see you!

Our prayers go out to those, and their families, who lost their lives in Orlando. Please spread love and peace amongst us all – no one should ever lose their life based on what they believe in. If you don’t expect one’s identity, beliefs, personality, etc… Move on!!
