Favorite Bloggers who Inspired me to Travel

Before starting down this path of creating a blog to share my travel experience, I decided to see what type of blogs were already out there. I’ve always been obsessed with Pinterest so it was a great place to find these blogs.

Favorite Bloggers who Inspired me to Travel

These bloggers have inspired me to keep my hopes alive and motivated me even more to see the world. They say never compare your beginning to someone else’s middle.

This is just the beginning of my journey, but by pushing myself I know how much I can achieve. When you keep up with some of your favorite bloggers, you learn a great deal of how to run a blog/business.

The Blonde AbroadFavorite Bloggers who Inspired me to Travel

Blonde Abroad is run by Kristen Rich, from California. She left her corporate job in 2007 and has been traveling and capturing amazing photos ever since.

She’s one of my top travel bloggers. Her blog focuses on Travel, festivals, lifestyle and lots of bikinis.

Oneika the Traveler

Oneika the Traveler is run by Onieka, she is originally from Canada. There are not a lot of black travelers out there that focus on concerns or issues that black travelers have or believe they might have when traveling to another country.

I always get nervous going to another country that I think might not accept me, which could just be an ignorant thought. By reading her blog, it reassures me that I can be a solo black traveler and be safe in the process. I fell in love with her blog, once I read the story of how she and her husband met. They are such a cute couple, YAY to interracial dating!

My life’s a movieFavorite Bloggers who Inspired me to Travel

My life’s a movie is run by Alyssa Ramos. She is a solo traveler that has a big personality and loves those floppy hats. I love following her on snap chat because of her great sense of humor and she really connects with her followers.

She does a lot of budget travel to show you don’t have to be rich to travel or need anyone with you to take your pictures. She gets some dope ass photos, that you would never think could be taken on a GoPro.

Local Adventures4922717874_2ed1881012_b

Local Adventures is run by Esther & Jacob, two adorable couples that fell in love with traveling. Their blog is mainly focused on traveling around the United States, from 101 things to do in different states to where to eat & stay.

They move to a different state every year and share their experiences with their readers.

Travel NoireFavorite Bloggers who Inspired me to Travel

Zim Ugochukwu is the founder of Travel Noire. It is not your typical blog, they do provide advice on activities and tips when traveling to different countries.

However, it is also built as a global community to bring black travelers together and inspire people to travel and grow their knowledge of the world.

If you don’t have anyone to go traveling with, no problem the TN Experience plans group trips so you don’t have to travel by yourself.

I AM Aileensummer-in-the-philippines

I AM Aileen is run by Aileen Adalid. She quit her corporate job in the Philipines at the age of 21 and has been traveling around with her boyfriend.

She is one of the few travel bloggers to have achieved so much growth and notice in a short amount of time.

Her interests are graphic and web design which truly shows on her website, it’s absolutely amazing and well organized.
