Last minute spontaneous trip, turned out to be the best decision I’ve made this year. New Orleans, has been on my list of places to go but I wasn’t in any rush to book a ticket.
It turned out that they had cheap tickets around October so my friend pushed us into booking a flight.
Was it worth it? The pictures will answer that, check it out!
New Orleans is a Louisiana city on the Mississippi River. New Orleans or NOLA is known for their non-stop nightlife, spicy, delicious dishes reflecting its history of French, African and American cultures.
Best time to go: February- May. This is the time where most of the festivals take place. They have Mardi Gras, French Quater Festival and more. However, due to the amounts of festivals, hotel and flight prices will be expensive. If you don’t like huge crowds and a lot of traffic, I wouldn’t advise going around this time.
To me, it doesn’t matter when you go New Orleans, it’s always going be a great time.
